at long last the final MASTERED!!! version of my Logan Lynn remix . . .
it’s being released on volume 1 of a remix EP called Blood in the Water by Beat the World Records which is the label owned by the Dandy Warhols . . .
anyways, listen and enjoy and pick up Logan’s album because he’s a really nice guy and it’s pretty awesome . . .

week two commences at JSM and things are very quiet . . . today monday . . .
i’m just sitting around and absorbing as much as I can . . .
the peeps are super cool and the equipment (and i’m not a gear head of any kind) is ridiculous . . .
been trying my hand at some commercial scoring for practice . . . those posts are on their way . . . IBM and Nokia . . . not sure commercial work is entirely for me . . . thank god i have a band and can consider myself an ‘artist’ . . . i am fighting the urge to yell “Corporate Hacks!!!!!” and run screaming from the office . . . not a great idea . . . it is a challenge and i never back down from one of those . . .
more LYM tracking this week . . . finished the guitars for 2012 last week . . . gonna put anther one away on thursday . . .
also excited to co-produce a cover of Self Control for the new Naked Highway record . . . i’ll be starting that tomorrow which means another thread is on the way . . .i love working on things that i haven’t written . . . it gives me license to try a whole bunch of shit out without over thinking it . . .

the last couple of weeks have been a little inconsistent in terms of posts . . .
LAST YEAR”S MODEL has been tracking vocals for our new record . . . those mixes haven’t even started to come together so once they do i will be posting them right here . . .
i have also been working on the new Last King of England record–a little NYC based pop punk outfit headed by the Coug . . .
this is the first rough mix of the song double or nothing . . .
In other news . . .
i did a remix for Portland based artist Logan Lynn, who is signed to the Dandy Warhols label, Beat the World Records . . .
my remix of his (awesome) track ‘Feed me to the Wolves’ is being released on Volume 1 of the four-part remix EP collection Blood in the Water which comes free when you pre-order the record on labor day weekend . . .
and finally . . . i’m starting my internship at JSM Music tomorrow . . . super fucking stoked . . .
oh and keep your eyes out for my remix of Lissy Trullie’s ‘Self-Taught Learner . . . it’s pretty sweeties . . .
